I found at least two instances of the wrong character name being used (Thom instead of Rick). The characters are one-dimensional and inconsistent. The science is bad. The science vs. religion debate is shallow and cliche. While I agree with some of the sentiments on modern society and GMO's, they were not fleshed out and left me feeling like no research was done on any of them. It presents an interesting twist to the zombie genre, but there's no way I can recommend it solely on that basis.
