ONE WILD RIDE is book 2 in the Hollywood Chronicles. It's characters are interconnected with book one but it still can be read as a standalone so no worries about jumping right into this one!

Elle Ward is the daughter of Hollywood's biggest director but she's worked hard to separate herself from the glam of that world. So when she runs into (literally) super hot model and up and coming actor, Kas, she desperately tries to keep him out of her life. But the charming Kas finds himself enthralled with the lovely Elle and letting him go won't be that easy.

So I wouldn't say this is insta-love per say...more like "the quick plunge". It's fun and sassy, sweet but sexy. The story unfolds really quickly without feeling too rushed. There's a bit of drama revolving around Elle's mistrust of actors but I didn't feel like it was too over the top. Just enough to keep me invested in Kas and Elle's romance.

I absolutely adored this couple! My goodness, Kas could make a rock sit up and take notice! He was what I'd call, DREAMY: amusing, sweet and fun-loving. Elle had a bit more somber demeanor but she was completely wary and untrusting of her feelings because of her past so I understood her caution. Kas' charm brought out the best in Elle and their attraction to each other leapt off the pages.

Overall, this book was a nice little read if you're looking for something to swoon over. Told from dual POVs with a happy ending. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.

It is more than lust. It is more than intense. It is everything.

Pretty good. Funny meet cute. Steamy tension between the characters. Easily resolved angst. If you’re looking for a kind of quick and easy romance with Hollywood vibes, then this is a good one to read!

Fun and flirty ride through Hollywood

I love almost anything set in my home state. And I'm a big fan of AL Jackson. Elle is like so many people who have been used for something they were born with, and she's a bit jaded. But when she runs into the gorgeous, enigmatic Kassius. He's everything she's sworn off but he won't be "run over" without trying to shatter her walls. I enjoyed it. Great short length. But you don't feel like your missing anything!

Oh, I adored this book! Fun, flirty, sexy and sweet, One Wild Ride made my heart sigh. After reading One Wild Night, I was eager to get Elle's story. I had to know what led her to miss her father's movie premiere. I was not disappointed. Of the two books, One Wild Ride was my favorite.

I loved Kas and Elle. From their first "run in" you could tell they had great chemistry. It only got better from then on. He's a charming, cocky, swoony model turned wannabe actor waiting for his big break. She is a determined and cautious daughter of a Hollywood director. They are so great together. I enjoyed their back and forth banter and their undeniable connection.

One Wild Ride is the book you reach for when you want to lose yourself for a couple of hours in a quick whirlwind romance. It's a bit insta- lovey but I had no problem with. I loved it.

OMG I loved every moment of this book! I can see the reasoning why Elle is so guarded like she is. Honestly, if I was in the same position, I probably would be the same and not date the Hollywood boys. But there was something about Kas that threw her for a loop. Well, especially how they are thrown together! I had to laugh at that and how Kas played her up just to win her over. There were a lot of ups and downs with these two but their chemistry was beautiful. How their banter made me giggle to their swoon worthy moments!
Overall, this was a great book that I could not put down! Honestly answered some questions I had from the first book in this series and I loved how they coincide with each other! This book really does keep you on your toes as these two navigate how to do a spotlight relationship. If you have read the first book, I so recommend continuing on with this one because it is brilliant. If you haven’t tried these books by these two epic authors, do it now, you will not regret it!
