Though Elle has a very small role in the previous book in the series, this book stands completely alone as well. The two protagonists met in the most unique way that I’ve read in a while: Elle hits Kas while backing out of a parking spot in a rush to get to her (top Hollywood director) father’s premiere. Wouldn’t you know that Kas is the super hot underwear model whose billboard she ogled just minutes before?
Anyway, model and aspiring actor Kas breaks his ankle in the ordeal (he was on a motorcycle) and takes advantage of the opportunity to get to know Elle (who he is very attracted to) and have some fun. Elle has a strict no actor policy on her dating life (for obvious reasons), but as she gets to know Kas better, the chemistry is obvious, and the walls around her heart come tumbling down.
Their banter was amusing, and Kas was very sweet but also had mischievous side. Elle was independent despite her upbringing and has a big heart. I really enjoyed these two together for a fast, light, steamy read.

I love this book as well as the authors, the audiobook is very well narrated. I totally recommend it if you love Hollywood romances as me.

One Wild Ride was one heck of a fun read! Elle and Kas had that much needed chemistry between main characters down pat and A.L. Jackson and Rebecca Shea proved that their writing partnership was no one-trick pony. This second book in their Hollywood Chronicles series had the same kind of lighthearted feel that the first one had but both books are distinct enough to not just stand out from each other but also to stand alone (although I'm recommending you check them both out!). I loved that Kas was this guy who went after what he wanted, and yeah, he may have been sneaky about spending as much time as he could with the girl he was smitten with, but some risks are worth it. Elle's wariness was understandable, and with her past, that wariness was definitely warranted. Of course, the heart wants what it wants, but these two had to go through a number of hoops to get to that happily-ever-after of theirs, which made for an entertaining read. I'm not sure if this is the last book in the series, but I hope it won't be the last time these authors write something together. One Wild Ride garners 4.5 stars. ♥

I really enjoyed this story and this series has definitely hooked me so far. I loved that it almost immediately pulls you in to the story. This was a quick read and I would have liked to have a little more to it, but that being said, I loved the storyline and the banter and the writing style and I definitely could not put it down. I can't wait to see what these authors bring us next. I definitely love them working together and can't wait to read more from them.

One Wild Ride is a short and exquisite Hollywood romance! After reading One Wild Night, the first novel in the Hollywood Chronicles, I was intrigued about Elle’s reasons behind her missing the red carpet for her dad’s movie premiere! Well, it’s finally unveiled in this story! With this second collaboration, A.L. Jackson and Rebecca Shea present a swoony romance that is so enjoyable!
Kassius is such a cocky and charming hero. He’s an up-and-coming actor looking for his first big role when Elle crashes into his life! From their meeting, the chemistry between them is potent and Kas uses his best one-liners on her that made me laugh and smile. He’s really sweet and endearing. Having been hurt in the past, Elle is a tough nut to crack and she tries to stay away from him, but Kas’s charismatic qualities are ultimately just irresistible for her. Together they’re so adorable and sexy! While the plotline is amusing and on a lighter tone, there’s also some emotional moments too!
The story being rather short, the relationship between Elle and Kassius is more of an insta-love kind, but I liked it anyway! The characters and storyline were attention-grabbing and entertained me. One Wild Ride is a delicious light read that will certainly appeal to you too!

I've been eagerly awaiting Elle's story since finishing One Wild Night, Kaylee and Pax's story, and the dynamic writing duo A.L. Jackson and Rebecca Shea do not disappoint!

The abs... betrayed me.
One Wild Ride was one awkward read. Don't get me wrong, this book brought the heat, steam, and the whole kitchen. Yet, I wasn't fully into the characters. Kas, so dreamy and lovable but Elle was a bit different for me. I wanted to like her in the beginning but it definitely took me a while to actually start liking her.
These two were adorable but I didn't like how Elle was assuming things because of her past history. One doesn't do that and it just kind of annoyed me. I was so happy that Kas stuck around and just made her fall in love with him but I also felt a bit bad for him as well. It would of drove me nuts if I was dating someone who did that.. but he's more determined than I am. Or maybe just stubborn?

Oh, I adored this book! Fun, flirty, sexy and sweet, One Wild Ride made my heart sigh. After reading One Wild Night, I was eager to get Elle's story. I had to know what led her to miss her father's movie premiere. I was not disappointed. Of the two books, One Wild Ride was my favorite.

Ohhh. I liked Elle and Kas's story even more than Pax and Kay's. It starts out a little silly with her hitting Kas with her car but it was a cute story of 2 unlikely people falling in love. (A touch unrealistic given the time table but I mean, who doesn't love a good hard fall into love.) Not quite as steamy as One Wild Night but that's ok. This was another quick read that was totally enjoyable.
