Such a cute story. A pretty easy read, adding a little goofy to the normal vampire type. The friend is a little needy, but 100% loyal, which makes me love her. And she adds a little to the chaos which makes the book what it is. Quinn, I gotta say, I'm a little torn with him. I kinda like him and want him to get the girl, even though he's not the obvious hero here. He had a misled start but you just know he's good at heart. I'll definitely continue this series and see what happens!

From the cover and the blurb I was expecting more comedy, or maybe the funny fell flat for me. I did enjoy the creativity of the plot and the well done character development.

Watch out for blind dates, you just never know what will happen.

Cute, quick, and a few chuckles were had with this book.

Actually, it was a one-night read!

I had been waiting for months for the kindle edition price to go down before purchasing this. I decided to treat myself and finally purchase this anyways. This was a quick read for me, over all I did enjoy it and glad that I finally got to read it, however some of the story fell flat. The attempted humor was off. The "Smitten" part im not 100% sure with..just who was she smitten with? This could have used a little bit more romance in my opinion. I will be reading the rest of the series, but will wait until the prices get lower!

Sarah has had the boring date from hell which is not improved when her date bites her and then gets murdered by a bunch of vampire hunters. She is rescued by a brooding, suicidal vampire who agrees to help her with her new undead life, but of course the vampire hunters have different plans for them.

Sarah was your typical ditzy vampire victim, though she was a better heroine than some of the morons I've read recently. However the plot is a bit samey and repetitive with her constant back and forward to the club every time she gets herself into more trouble. As for Thierry, what a waste of time he was. For someone who is meant to be helping Sarah, he tells her virtually nothing, treats her like a piece of crap and is never there when he is needed. As a love interest, well he sucked, literally. Bland, boring, nothing interesting about him and I see no point in him and Sarah as a couple. He's a waste of space! Quinn has much more potential and at least there was a point to him existing. Maybe the book would have gone better if Mr Broody Fangs had killed himself...

It was cute! I liked the Canadian angle too, so cool to read a Vampire novel set in Canada, too bad it was Toronto though! (Kidding...)

I might be up for getting the next novel in the series. I would really like to read more of these characters.

Love this series, I started reading them a long time ago from the library but I picked up the third one. I personally love the main character Sarah as she’s such an idiot sometimes it hurts.
