A strange and unusual take on the Christmas Carol 'The Twelve Nights of Christmas'

But this has nothing to do with Christmas Cheer or false niceness. Yes there is a partridge in a pear tree, 2 turtle doves, 3 French hens, 4 calling birds, 5 golden rings, 6 geese a laying, 7 swans swimming, 8 maids a milking, 9 ladies dancing, 10 lords leaping, 11 pipers piping and 12 drummers drumming.

But that is where the similarity ends. The 9 dancing ladies are 9 exotic dancers. The 4 calling birds are women who telephone a man, although this turns perilous for them. These aren't happy endings, these are slightly murderous and gory but if you have a dark sense of humour you will enjoy this selection of short stories.
