Um, the only thing that this hammered home is the cold hard fact that I want a freaking TOME of Crane and Merrick’s misadventures - past and future!
I’m just too upset and indignant that it won’t ever happen so imma gonna be over there in my cups. Feel free to join me if you want to commiserate in mutually shared misery.

Good thing I wasn't in the fandom five months ago or I might have thought to read this over Christmas, when my partner and I had our own engagement. As it was, I still had to take break to calm myself enough to be able to read through the tears. I'm not equipped for such unprecedented levels of pure joy, might need a nap.
