I think if I read this before watching the show I would like it much better. It was almost identical to the show. There were some differences but nothing crazy. I honestly would probably skip reading this and just watch the show. That's just my opinion.

Total schwierig zu bewerten. Erst hat mich das Buch nicht so ganz überzeugt, dann habe ich in die TV-Serie reingeschaut, für die das Buch ein Prequel ist, und plötzlich hat es besser funktioniert.

Awww this was cute. I haven't seen any of the Netflix show, but I did watch Sabrina in the 90's (and so I'm using this book for Popsugar's nostalgia prompt). I was a bit disappointed that there's no Salem in this version, was a talking cat considered too cheesy? His character is replaced by Ambrose, imprisoned in the house rather than transformed into a feline.

Cute prequel that read pretty much exactly like an episode of the show. Really loved the special chapters focusing more on other characters like Ms. Wardwell and Tommy!

Check out my full review at Forever Young Adult.

I liked the ‘What Happens in the Dark’ passages best (though the contrast of the background was sometimes not the easiest to read if you’ve got poor eye sight

I wasn't sure if I would like this, but I loved all the insights into everyone's heads.

Still Team Nick though.
