Tears of happiness. My heart can't bear all this love!
This book is absolutely amazing, I can find no other word to describe it.
Angelfall and World After were good but not as good as End of Days. I found myself enjoying the last book more than the first two. Angelfall was pretty, World After was boring in the first half, but this book gave me way more feelings. I loved it.

A brilliant end to the series! I read it far too fast - it felt a lot shorter than it actually was.
No spoilers here :D

I definetly liked this book better then the second one in the series (we could see more of Raffe hehe). I love Penryn and I love Raffe and I totally LOVE Dee and Dum okay? They're my favs! Allthough this was a quite easy ending for a whole apocalypse I enjoyed all the dark and creepy stuff. Especially the thing with Beliel? That almost made be cry, it was just sooooooooooooooooooooooo unfair. I somehow forgot most of the things that happened by now so I can't say a lot (shoul've written this review earlier) I like how the author indirectly tells us about how all the things we see as important and worthy in our lives today will be totally worthless if something bad would ever happen to our world (just think about war between humanity), like all the awesome sports cars and technology which the people even wanted to save first when the apocalypse just began.
End of Day is the last book in the Penryn and The End of Days series.
The story picks up right after the World After. Raffe and Penryn are on the run. More time they spend together, harder is it to stay away.
The action is more intense, the is a lot more at stake than ever before, and the final battle is finally here. Angels have to pick sides, as well as Penryn.
I loved it!
The ending couldn’t be more perfect, it fit the story, it fits the characters, however, I desperately wished there was more, more of Raffe, more about their life after, something. :)
It’s one of those books that are best to be read all at once, from first till the last one. :)

IT WAS STILL A GOOD SERIES!
While I really enjoyed this series, and on the whole find it a truly fascinating take on angels/biblical tales/apocalyptic jazz... it really fell apart by the third half of the book. Everything was so rushed, so fast, so under-developed. This series would have really benefited from five books instead of three.
Raffe and Penryn are still the best duo to come out of a series in a long ass time. I really hope the movie goes forward so that everyone can see them in action. I hope the casting is legit so that whomever writes the script can make it just as good as it was on paper.
My favorite bits of this book were the sequences having to do with Beliel. GOD I LOVED HIS WARPED, TORTURED SOUL. A part of me yearns for a book to see him and how he was before ending up in Hell. Maybe one day there will be...
I had fun, but honest to god, would have benefited from an extra book or two.

(THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE WHOLE SERIES)
It's been some time since I've read this series. I finished it and I couldn't think about anything else, couldn't focus on anything else. I just needed some time to get used to the idea that this is the end, that there's no more of this world.
Now, when I'm trying to write this review, I can't remember where exactly each book started and ended. It's one big story in my heart.
So, I've read "Angelfall" six years ago. All I remember from that time is that I really liked the book and I wanted to buy the whole series before reading the second book. Who knows why I didn't read them when I bought the books but I regret it so hard. This series is amazing and it forever holds a big and special place in my heart.
My reread of "Angelfall" was a bit slow because I mostly knew the story and I only got a few details I had forgotten. But by the end of the book I was hooked all over again and ready to jump into the next book.
The writing is so easy to read once you fall into the world of Penryn. The pages fly as you unfold the story and it's just so easy to get sucked in and lost in these books.
I love the whole idea of this apocalyptic world. Angels coming to earth, showing that they're not the good godly creatures humanity thought. The struggles and fights that humans have, the bigger angels' politics scheme that's behind the whole invasion. With the first book, I didn't expect it to be that deep but here we are. All the plot's twists and turns were amazing.
What I love a lot about this series is Penryn. She's a simple teenage girl and her mission is to save her sister and protect her family. Even after she meets the hot guy and falls for him, even after all they both go through, she keeps that mission in the first place to the end. She doesn't let love change her course and I love and respect that. I think that this is the best example of enemies to lovers I've read.
There's this part close to the end of the last book when they kiss and they know that once they pull away, they'll be on different sides. It breaks my heart but I love that pain. The romance in this series is so beautifully written and intertwined with the plot in a way that's not overwhelming. What can I say? For me, everything in this series is so perfect.
I wish there was more of this world but the end was well done. I kinda didn't expect it after everything but im happy and satisfied.
If there's one thing I really want to say about this series it's - just give it a chance

The final book in the series had a lot of redeeming qualities. For one, the writing improved. It was still not the best use of language, in my opinion, but it moved the story along at a fast pace. Giving this book a 3 means I enjoyed the story as a whole, but not necessarily the writing.
Wait, what? That's how it ends? It felt unsatisfying, yes things were resolved but there were a lot of hanging threads in this war between humanity and bored angels.
