It ended pretty much as I expected, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It was very okay.

This review would go for the trilogy as a whole. I can't believe that it's actually over. I want to continue reading about Penryn and Raffe, but I can't because there is no more to add to it. I believe that it ended perfectly and it. Couldn’t have been planned out better. I recommend this trilogy to anyone and everyone. I hope that everyone enjoys this trilogy as much as I did.

idk why BUT I LOVED THIS END!! Honestly I thought their relationship or the romance wasn't to "die for" at first. I became more interested on what Penryn gets for her ending and how it would play out. But then the buildup of their relationship overall in the series really stuck to me especially by the end. I'm prolly just easy to please but I enjoyed it sm it deserves a 5💞

What an incredible ending to the book—it really felt like everything was wrapped up in a satisfying way. I absolutely loved this series, especially for how unpredictable it was. The time-travel twist with the Watchers was brilliant—such a clever, mind-bending move that completely caught me off guard. I even found myself upset over Beliel's death. Despite all the awful things he did, his backstory was genuinely heartbreaking and gave so much depth to his character.
In the previous book, I found her nicknames kind of cringey, but I have to admit, "Pooky Bear" and the twins actually grew on me. They added a quirky charm that I ended up enjoying.
That said, I do wish there had been more intense, emotionally charged moments between Raffe and Penryn—especially ones where he didn’t immediately pull away. The push-and-pull dynamic was frustrating at times, and while I was glad they ended up together, Raffe’s internal struggle sometimes felt a bit drawn out. I also wasn’t a fan of the bed scene while he was unconscious—it made me a bit uncomfortable...
Overall, though, this series was fantastic. It gave me the same excitement I felt when I first read Divergent as a kid. I only wish it had been a bit longer—there were so many elements, like the Pit and Alcatraz, that I would’ve loved to see explored in more detail!

It is so good. I couldn't find a better way to end the book. It was exciting and new. I loved it and well worth the time.
Finally the end... This author is amazing! Full review to come...
