Overall I thought the series was good, however the first two books were waaaaay better than the third. I'm disappointed that there was a LOT of smut hinting without it actually ever happening. I also think the book was extremely rushed. There were a whole bunch of super climactic points in the book that seemed like they should have taken way longer to resolve. It didn't even seem like it was that hard for the characters to face their so-called biggest obstacles. I still recommend the books because I think they are worth the read, I just think the third is disappointing in some ways.
End of Days was a good end to the series, but even before reading this book I had already lost some interest in the story because it took so long for this book to be released. I found it to be an okay read; it was basically what I expected it to be.
overall, I liked this series, because in many ways it is very unique and the idea of bad angels really hooked me. however, there were a few things that irked me about this last book. sadly, the witty genius I enjoyed so much in the other 2 books was missing in this one for me, the romance was just eh, and there was soooo much back story/worldbuilding about the angel world missing.

Basically what I imagine everything and everyone is thinking in these books. So many people ending up as chow. I contemplated becoming a vegetarian at one point. Not kidding.
I really liked this series but this book did kind of disappoint. It felt very rushed and the ending was far from the epic battle I was waiting for. It just fell kind of flat to be honest, I think it needed another 100 or so battle pages, it was over before it began and most of it made absolutely no sense, there were plot devices popping up all over the place in the last 100 pages that were ever so convenient and just felt like they were wedged in there in order to end the book as soon as possible.
In saying that it was a fast paced and an enjoyable read. Penryn and Raffe are as ever fantastic. Her mom and Paige are definite favourites and I loved the Watchers. But for me they all deserved more. It's not that the plot went somewhere I didn't want it to go, I was glad they all ended up where they did but the journey there was just not as good as the previous two books.

دختری که با شرایط سخت خانوادگیش اصلا تسلیم نشد؛دختری که با وجود داشتن یه مادر مشکل دار(از لحاظ روانی) و یه خواهر معلول جسمی بازم ازشون دفاع کرد،تنهاشون نزاشت حتی موقعی که اخر دنیا شده بود
حتی موقعی که خواهرش اسیر شد و اون بلاها سرش اومد بازم مراقبش بود
نویسنده این کتابو تقدیم کرده به تمام کسایی که مثل پنرین مشکل خانوادگی دارن و از درد دارن میسوزن ولی بازم قوی ان و به زندگی کردن ادامه میدن
پنرین یانگ یه دختر خیلی ویژه با یه شخصیت خیلی ویژه س.
این بهترین نقطه قوت کتاب بود چون همونطور که گفتم پنرین یه دختر عادی نبود!تو یه دنیای دیوونه بازم مبارزه کرد اینقدر که تونست بشریت رو نجات بده
اول از همه بگم که این اولین تجربه ی من با ژانر فرشته ها و نفیلیم بود و باید اعتراف کنم به عنوان اولین تجربه خیلییییییییی عالی بود!!! طوری که الان دیوانه وار عاشق این ژانر شدم!!خیلی جالبه ژانرش برام تازگی داره:دی
نویسنده خانم سوزان ایی واقعا تخیل فوق العاده ای تو تصویر کشیدن برزخ و قیامت و فرشته ها داشت؛عالی بود
حوادث این جلد هم خیلی سریع اتفاق میوفتادن یعنی تا میومدن چپتر قبلی رو هضم کنم یه دفعه یه اتفاق جدید میوفتاد و اوضاع پیچیده تر میشد
مثلا همین نبرد اخر0.0دقیقا چهاربار جهت گیری ها عوض شد اصلا اون اخرا معلوم نبود کی با کی داره میجنگه0.0
ولی کاملا از همه حوادث لذت بردم!!با همه شون هیجان زده شدم و استرس گرفتم کلی:دی قسمت مورد علاقه م موقعی بود که رفتن برزخ تا نگهبانای رافایل رو نجات بدن..ایده اون قسمت واقعا جالب بود
اخرای کتاب هم خودمو کامل اماده کرده بودم تا همه بمیرن و قشششششنگ گریه کنم ولی در کمال تعجب خیلی بهتر از انتظارم تموم شد!..الانم تو شوک اخرشم هنوز نمیدونم خوشحال باشم یا ناراحت؟!
در اخر این کتاب یکی از جالب ترین ها تو ژانر پستارستاخیز(فارسی سازی شده ی اپاکالپتیک)هستش!!!!!ایده ش که خدایی جالب بود من تا حالا نخونده بودم اخر زمین با حمله ی فرشته های رستاخیز صورت بگیره..هرکی دنبال یه کتاب خوب تو این ژانر میگرده این کتاب اولین پیشنهاد من بهش خواهد بود!

End of Days took what I loved in Angelfall and World After and added to it some of the things I missed, more of the stuff I loved and gave it entirely new dimensions.
A List of Awesomeness in End of Days:
End of Days starts exactly where World After ended. It is a crazy wild ride from beginning to end and I really don’t think I could have guessed how any of this would play out. Actually I did guess and I was SO SO Wrong, I don’t think a single theory panned out for me except for my one on little Paige.
Susan Ee gave us some new and fantastical scenes from hell, she bridged new territory with her imaginings of the demon realm and I for one am in awe of it. Just when it got too heavy and too gruesome she tempered it with quick wit and humor to keep it from becoming overwhelming. Plus there was romance….shhhh I know I know, but I loved every touch, kiss and tender moment shared between our star-crossed couple.
The only reason I deducted a star was there are a few things that either were ignored or didn’t wrap up or I still have a ton of questions about and was left pondering them well after I finished the book. THEY ARE ALL SPOILERS…..do not click on the tag unless you have finished the book
① - The immortal/mortal thing not even broached? Raffe totally still immortal, Penryn completely mortal so they get 50 – 60 years together and poof done. It wasn’t even really mentioned. Don’t get me wrong I love that he ended up staying on earth and SUPER LOVE that he took the demon wings back because seriously I thought they were way cooler. But that just seemed a little glossed over and under fleshed out. Layla sorta fixed Paige (vague description) couldn’t she also just randomly added something to Penryn for a little extended life mojo….just saying.
Also the very end hook up was slightly cheesy…..or maybe that was just me. I wanted possibly a smidgen more on that front.
② - What the hell happened to all the 666 creatures with their consumed heads? Do they still just hang out in our Ocean or did they go back to the demon plain with the Pit Lord?
③ - Would Raffe and his watchers really have participated in the Blood Hunt to win? I really wish Penryn would have asked and that Raffe had a different plan in mind. That is quite a big thing to forgive if he was going to decimate all those humans.
④ - The Nephilim – this is really my smallest thing. Susan Ee totally changed the lore and the Nephilim were harmless and just babies…no monster flesh eating tendencies. Now most humans have a little diluted angle blood in them. Hmmm….was that why Penryn could touch the sword she is a little small bit Angel.
Mostly that is it. I gave up on the Raffe is millennia old and Penryn is 17 thing a long time ago so it doesn’t bother me…in my head with all of her mom crap and raising Paige she is easily the equivalent of 25. Nothing really bothered me so much that it diminished my overall enjoyment of the story.
I really wonder if Ee is going to revisit the hellion realm or this world again in future stories.

✔ - More Romance - OkayIwaswrong (totally sigh worthy trust me) and some YA hot fans-self worthy moments….hint rhymes with missing
✔ - Weirder Imagery (who knew it could be done) it was disturbing and I will never think of hell the same way again.
✔ - More Raffe!!! I missed him in World After – WE NEEDED more Penryn/Raffe banter time after World After.
“Might as well fly into the heart of the enemy where the primitive natives can tear me to pieces, sell my body parts for money, and grind the rest to be consumed in teas for sexual potency.”
I tighten my arms around his neck. “We’re not that primitive anymore.”
He arches his perfect eyebrow at me, sending waves of skepticism.
“We have Viagra now.”
✔ - DeeDum antics including a Talent Show AND who would win in a fight between Godzilla and members of Penryn’s entourage. I know who I’d put money on.
✔- Penryn’s crazy/not-so-crazy mother. Sometimes there is rhyme to her reason and other times…well you’ve read the other books so you know.
✔ - #TeamFallen – I’m totally on the Fallen Watchers team.
✔ - PAIGE - *sobs* that little girl has been through hell but at least Penryn isn’t afraid of her anymore.
✔ - POOKY BEAR – is as epic and awesome as ever with a few new tricks up her sleeve.
✔ - Redemption of a character I thought unredeemable.
✔ - Angel Elections a fascinating blend of democracy, fighting and survival of the fittest all at the same time.
✔ - Crazy creatures and epic battles
✔ - AND FINALLY – an ending that I really liked. not perfect I still have so many unanswered questions, but I’m really okay with how the series wrapped up
