The more they reveal about An Tzu the more questions I have. I have had theories since they started hinting with the visions in earlier novels, but at this point I'm just desperate to know if my answer is right.
I'm enjoying this one a lot, too, and I'm curious about the giants. I love that Oona is such a good hearted character, and I love the hope and light and joy in these books. It's a nice change from so many stories that feel darkness and despair are what makes a story interesting or gives it drive.
That isn't the case at all, for me.

Fantastic. Having finished it, I cannot wait for the last one to come out, and to finally wrap up this adventure I started all those years ago on a whim. It's been a great ride, and I'm excited to see it through, and to revisit it again and again.

This one sets up the final volume so it moves at a steady clip and doesn't stand as well on its own as the earlier books. The art and story are particularly reminiscent of Moebius's Edena comics here, which fits the critique of organized religion perfectly.

Did not see the plot twist with An Tzu coming, and I am very much here for it.
