Adelyn makes a deal with a dark god to have more time in her life. She lives forever, but is never remembered. After 300 years she meets someone who remembers her, but only because he's made a deal of his own and has a year to live. They fall in love and she trades herself for him when his time is up. She agrees to spend her life with Luc, but words it in a way that will free her of him after she breaks his heart.

Loved the unique story and characters!! The ending was so good. :,)

Knocked off stars because I thought the plot dragged a bit and was kind of repetitive. I didn’t feel super connected to the book and had to tell myself to get through it at some parts, but the ending saved it for me.   Definitely want to read more of her books!

4.5 stars. This book was so beautiful, from top to bottom. I felt lost in time as I read it. While it is relatively repetitive in plot, it is still interesting, emotional.
