This one was a little slower than the first three, as much time was dedicated to Garion finally discovering what we’ve all known since book one - and coming to terms with the prophecy. Ce’Nedra does quite a bit of growing in this one too. And everyone is on a collision with destiny.

So, I've just been bopping along, enjoying this reread of a series I remember fondly, when I start to notice some problems with the female characters. Sigh. And I wish I hadn't noticed, because now I am distracted.
Just the usual woman as temptress, woman can only do something because she realizes her love of a man, women doing things just to confuse men and ensnare them, etc. Which is also unfortunate, because many of the women are very strong, fleshed out characters.
It's not a big enough problem that I won't continue my revisit, but I am disappointed.
