It's a large book brought into existence beautifully. Not all of the included pieces are detailed enough to warrant equal scrutiny, but a few are stunning, some thought-provoking, and most are heart-warming. Unsurprisingly, there are some I might have got more out with a deeper knowledge and appreciation of art history to start with. There's a decent amount of diversity on show as far as ethnicity, sexuality and gender goes, though of course there might always be more - I was left particularly hungry for more cultural diversity, different body types, and most of all my eternal bugbear, disability representation.
