A great prologue to Rogue One. An exciting read for those who are curious about the events and relationships prior to the film. A welcome addition to the Star Wars canon, and is also a wonderful book for fans and non-fans alike.
I enjoyed this book. It would have been delightful as a stand alone science fiction novel. Just as I forget all the ordinary people caught up in World War II, this brings the average galactic citizen to light as the Empire grows. It leaves an eerie feeling with today's current events.

Interesting character study of Galen Erso and Orson Krennic. It was a little long for what it was but had some great scenes and takeaways. Krennic is public enemy number one
A good novel filled with a lot of technical information especially pertaining to the origins of the death star. I love the Ersos and learning more about their history, but this book could benefit from a bit more action. Does a good job setting things up for Tarkin (maybe I should have have waited to read that) and Rebel Rising (reading that next).
