Sweet and mysterious.
I was wondering why the title is HOAX when I first added this to my tbr list. Now I know, and boy was I surprised.
Corinne is one of those pretty proper girls from a strict boarding school. She's the type of girl who's not used to other people helping her. She gets by, even without her parents' attention. While Abel on the other hand, is sweet and attentive, however, he is also that boy who's in a typical high school -- he's a typical spectator to those guys who're typical bullies.
This is one of the teen insta-attractions that's okay with me. Corrine and Abel are so cute together. The plot is good, kinda light and sweet. Abel's dilemma seemed silly when compared to Corinne's real problem. I was shocked when I found out about it. I didn't see that coming. I was intrigued, yes, about Corrine's barely-there parents.. but I didn't imagine that they'd be like that! Oh well! Anyway, it all worked out well in the end. Corrine finally accepted help from Abel. And they lived happily ever after. ;)
I wish it was longer though.
Still, it's a good, sweet read. ^_^
