This was a sweet little story of a young witch learning about her powers and reconnecting with an old friend. I loved the art style and I always like stories about people working together and being nice to each other but earnest teen romances (it's the same with heartstoppers) always make me cringe so hard. I don't think I'm the target audience and that's okay!

So so cozy. I don’t read a ton of graphic novels, but this truly is a good one. I read it over about two hours, so it’s not a huge time commitment, which I think added to the coziness (it probably also helps that I had a cat snuggling me the whole time). The illustrations are adorable and expressive, and the story is simple but interesting. I enjoyed and appreciated the diverse cast. Overall definitely would recommend giving this one a read.

cutesy and gay, but it left me wanting more. wish it had leaned more into being cozy or more into being serious, but it fell flat trying to do both. still a nice and quick story, with beautiful work and character design.

Whimsical, hilarious and heart-warming. This book left me wanting more.

I absolutely adored the characters. Each and every one of their personalities were crafted beautifully. Strong family dynamics and diversity were well represented.

And of course, the magic! Oh, how I loved the magic and creatures in this novel. Paired with the amazingly done graphic designing, I can honestly say this book was pretty much a masterpiece.

If you're looking for a light read that's whole-hearted, pick this up!
