The footnotes concept was just....odd. It all could have easily blended into the narrative of the book, and it would have been better for it. Reading as an e-book, it was just super distracting.
It ends on a cliff-hanger. Sadly, I didn't know ahead of time. I don't normally start a series that ends in cliff-hangers until all the books are out. Is it just a way to make more money on what is, essentially, one book?
Anyway, the story is entertaining enough. Very light on plot, back story, and getting to know the characters. Hopefully that is all resolved in the continuation...er, I mean, 2nd book.

I honestly can’t say enough good things about this book. It was seriously the most fun read I’ve come across in a while and the author had a lot fun footnotes as well.
The FMC is fantastic- she’s tough and funny. I loved all the guys but X is definitely my favorite.
There was plenty of spice and drama and I’m dying for the next one.

The FMC is everything, she’s funny and deadly , it was a one sitting reading the 3 books ! It’s a why choose and I do love books about demons

Crazy killers and hilarious
Started this book based off a quote on tiktok. Read the blurb and thought ‘crazed killers, mates and paranormal romance’, sign me up! But what I loved the most about this book was the footnotes and the witty charm of the FMC. Definitely snorted up my drink.

Completely unhinged and SO FREAKING FUNNY!
It's all over the place, but in a good way. I just hoped I won't get bored, because with these types of characters, I often get bored after the 2nd book.
