Attack of the Jack was a fun and adventurous read!
Usually, R.L. Stine's characters are a tad whiney; however, in this story, they were actually likeable. And the twist in this book was not that predictable; I was actually shocked at one point in the story! However, the end was a tad disappointing; it felt rather rushed. Nonetheless, Attack of the Jack was enjoyable and unputdownable.
The Slappyworld series keeps getting better, and I am looking forward to the next book in this series!

I thought this book got off to a good start. I liked the setting and the cat.. but the rest was a little too over the top for me. Definitely not my favorite of Stine's, but I am looking forward to SlappyWorld #3!

My five year old grandson called this book "sort of boring." I had to agree.

I don't know what the fuck is this.
I liked the beginning, and I thought it will be like “Creep from the deep”.
But no.
The plot twists seemed so obviously.
And the way they fled the island. It was unrealistic, as with too many coincidences.
And then, the end, was so... meh.
I'm a fan of all the R. L. Stine books, but this was really disappointing, and so bad.
