I feel a bit conflicted about this book.  I enjoyed the beginning, but then it sort of devolved into a mess.  Something felt off about this book.  It was written for male readers to identify with.  It's about a character who feels disillusioned over his life chasing the corporate ladder, but has a surrealist approach with vague Alice In Wonderland references.  I'm not a huge fan of philosophy, mostly because of the type of people drawn to philosophy, aka men who think a little much of themselves and expect other people to think that their disjointed musings are more profound than they actually are.  There is definitely something to say about the writing, but I just couldn't connect with this.
