I did not realize this book was so short. I’m a little sad because it ended so soon. I wanted at least 200 pages more of this story.
Because of its length, it was too fast paced for my liking but I adored the story itself.
Queen Darcy could’ve written a series about this idea I believe.
It was a great read for a summer night when I have no patience for anything else.

The duology meets a nice ending. Still not one of my favourite books though: not enough creepiness, not enough originality and the characters didn't engage me enough. It just seemed more of the same thing, I think the story could easily have been told in 1 book.
