Sunshine, I love this girl and will miss her adventures. She is such a great character, with the right amount of heart, intelligence, sass, loyalty and bravado. Her love, Levi is a sexy mass of trouble, just the way we like them. I didn’t adore her daughter, maybe because she throws herself into danger at every chance. Yeah stupid invincible teenager syndrome. LOL It’s not that bad but as a mom I was screaming at her.
So in this final book in the trilogy (I wish it wasn’t) everything goes crazy, dead girls, mysterious connections lead them to a surprising conclusion. Levi and Sunshine finally talk and resolve their issues. Oh boy is there some history there. Everyone gets their time to wrap up loose ends, still I didn’t feel like the story was over. There is more there, perhaps Ms. Jones will give us a holiday short or brief visit with these characters again. :D
Honestly she is one of my top 5 authors, I’d never miss a book from her. Her books are always fun, with fantastic characters. Give her books a try, you’ll be very happy you did.

A nice finale to the series, but the wrap up seemed rushed. I wish there was going to be more with these characters.

A Hard Day for a Hangover was the perfect conclusion to Sunshine Vicram’s trilogy, and I’m sad that it’s the end. This has become one of my favorite mystery trilogies and another great read from Darynda Jones. I love Darynda Jones’s writing style and how she writes some suspenseful, serious storylines with a fantastic cast of characters while also throwing in humor that has you laughing out loud. I definitely plan on rereading this trilogy in the future and made sure to buy the paperbacks for my library that’s how much I loved these books.

I loved everything about this trilogy, but the final book will definitely be a favorite because I finally got the answers I’ve been craving since book one when it came to Sunshine and Levi. I’m glad those two finally got the HEA they deserved after what happened years ago, and the truth came out about what really happened to Sunshine and who was behind her kidnapping when she was 17 years old. I loved getting to know Levi better, too, in this book and how much he had cared for Sunshine for so many years.

This book is where Sheriff Sunshine Vicram has no time to deal with a hangover because she has several cases once again to solve. Her daughter, once again, tries to help but ends up in serious trouble. It was a whirlwind of a book with everything Sunshine and her deputies had to deal with, but I was thankful that everything came together in the end and the bad guys were caught.

This was another five-star book for me, and now I need more like it. If you haven’t read this trilogy and enjoy mysteries with a romantic subplot and humor, then add it to your TBR. This trilogy does need to be read in order, so start with A Bad Day for Sunshine

If you are an audiobook lover, then I highly recommend the audiobooks for this trilogy. Lorelei King is the narrator, and she’s one of my favorite narrators. I love how she brought all the characters and stories to life.

Loved it as usual. I feel like some loose ends were finally tied up in a lovely little bow, I enjoyed that. I will say though this book definitely got a bit intense at times & I was holding my breath during parts, but I was also laughing out loud at times as well. So I guess balance was had in the town of Del Sol. There is still plenty of mystery in this small town & I hope there is more to come....... Edit (5 minutes later) just googled, apparently this is the last in the series and now I am sad. Darynda's other series are longer than trilogies so I didn't think this would be the last one. I'm not ready to let this town go, I don't feel completely satisfied with this being the ending to the series, I have questions!

I guess I'll go back to waiting for more in her Betwixt & Between series.
