Quite lovely to read - but in my opinion the slow burn was a little *too* slowburn.
Heavy spoilers:
A couple that only shares their feeling at 97% of the book and then has a single kind of sex scene and, like, 5 pages of epilogue... this was not enough for me. I understand how this tsype of communication is how slowburn seems to generally work, but I wish that their issues had been resolved just a... tad earlier. On their way back from the other two vampires, for example. I also think there would have been more time to think about if and how Theophilus would be turned into a vampire. This also was only hinted at very lightly on practically the last two pages.

But besides this rather specific gripe I found I mostly enjoyed this book. It certainly was fun to read. *Very* character driven though, there was practically no real plot outside of the relationship of the main characters.

Nice autism and ADHD representation, though. If a little bit too "in your face" with the hints at times, for me personally. Still, glad to see these two being portrayed as likeable characters with all their facets!
