As I saw the book at the Library I knew right away I wanted to read it. The cover just looked magical and the Story had me trapped immediatly.
I love Amy and her good nature, her curiosity and even her naivety.
Another thing I really liked about this Story was the appearance of other famous books and its main ideas.
Altough I was really impressed by the idea of the Story, the book itself wasn't that captivating. I think the author could have gotten more out of the story, especially the relationship between the two main characters could have been described a little better. Everything just happened so fast.
I was really disappointed by the end, because it didn't seem fitting for me. Again, the end was really short and in too little detail.

Die Idee, sich in Bücher hinein zu lesen ist an sich nicht originell (siehe Tintenherz oder Jasper Fforde), wurde hier aber nett neu verpackt und liebevoll mit bekannten literarischen Figuren bespickt.
Abzug gibt es für das etwas "gerannte" Ende, dass mir etwas abrupt erschien und die Tatsache, dass nie erklärt wird, warum die Protagonistin ihre Mutter nicht "Mama", sondern kurioserweise beim Vornamen nennt.

This book has a cool concept and is written decently but I think there are too many plot holes/the plot doesn’t make much sense when you really think about it. It took me a month to read this because I wasn’t super excited to pick it up. Overall, this book was fine, but idk that I’d recommend it.
