This book is absolutely gorgeous. Beautifully-illustrated and very well put together. I really enjoyed this book. It is a great way to learn about various mythological creatures.
Each page consists of two halves of an animal with a short description. The reader can flip both halves of the page to look at the next creature or can only flip one half to create their own creature such as a Draberus (top half of Cerberus and bottom half of a dragon) or Fenku (bottom half of Fenrir and bottom half of Baku). Very fun and creative book.
I just can't get over how fantastic the illustrations are. So, so beautiful.
Some of the creatures are a bit scary, so I wouldn't recommend it for very young children, but this is a great book for children interested in mythological creatures.

THIS BOOK IS SO COOL. It was interesting to read about beasts I'd never heard of before from so many different cultures, and then so fun to scramble them all up. SO MANY COMBINATIONS.
