sooo interesting i just loved how the details of the reality were revealed so similarly to how the characters themselves were understanding their world at different stages. the character interactions esp ruth and kathy were so realistic and i legit couldn’t put this down

I don’t think I fully grasped the situation and the world in this but it did leave me with something. To me this book was about purpose, trying to find what makes you happy, trying to answer all the questions you have, trying to be happy, and hoping that as you get older things will getter better, clearer. I’m sure that I’ll be thinking about this book for a while, and have my own questions. Just not sure if I want them answered.

A nostalgic and well paced page-turner set in dystopian society. This book has truly moved me and was extremely thought provoking.

Would recommend to many people, but not all as it can be a bit slow at times. A book that you read on a rainy day. 8.5/10. Recommended by Libby.
