A good general overview of attachment difficulties, written in a friendly and easy-to-read way which give you a summary of the main areas of this big topic. As it's only just over a hundred pages and there's a lot of ground covered, it's more of an introduction and the "simple guide" bit of the title is an accurate description, so I'll most likely go away and do my own research on the areas I found most interesting to me - cortisol's role on children's behaviour and the overlap between trauma and attachment.
