This was pretty bland and basic, and it's only getting this high of a rating because of my love of the characters themselves.

Pros:
-another Matt and Frank crossover

Cons:
-very unoriginal and generic story
-artwork wasn't that great
-the Blindspot dude was annoying
-cringey dialogue
-idiot cops

I only purchased this comic because I absolutely adore everything that has to do with Matt Murdock and Frank Castle. Unfortunately, this was a letdown. If you want to check out some of their stuff, I'd recommend skipping this volume.

I love the A. Maleev inspired art that works so well for Daredevil's setting. The writing however, meh. I understand this could be a jumping on point for many readers new to the characters. but the dialogue as character-up-to-this-point summary comes off as really childish to me. I prefer in media res, nah mean? might just watch season 2 of Netflix's Daredevil instead of finishing.

Generic, repetitive and borning
Police seem stupider than usual.
No pay off just a waste of time

Edit: a week later after writing the "review" i thought about something and that is if Punisher knows that Matt wants to send the criminal to Texas because of the death penalty and he is already in custody there's no reason for Punisher to kill him.
Punisher kills criminals that slip through the cracks.
