I have never enjoyed the billionaire genre until now. I am Breathlessly in love with Will Franconi. He wasn't born with a silver spoon. He earned it his gold after he and the Mavericks fought their way out Chicago . Will was not a happy person. Will knew something was missing in his life. He just didn't know what it was until a little boy wrote him a letter. He thought Jeremy was around seven when he asked to see his cars. Jeremy was a way to make amends for his past, to fill avoid. He just didn't know it Jeremy was hit by a car, leaving him forever seven. Jeremy's perpetual happiness is infectious. Will's treatment and respect for Jeremy is infectious. We can all learn something from the way Will handles and respects Jeremy. It left my heart a flutter. Kudos to the authors for presenting the issue with such class. Harper is Jeremy's sister and guardian. She is protective and devoted to her brother. Men have not treated her well. Men have not been kind to Jeremy. And now, for the first time in Will's live he wants someone. Will has his work cut out. How does he convince Harper he isn't going to disappear on Jeremy? How does he convince Harper that he will protect Jeremy? How does he convince Harper that her heart is safe with him? How does he accept his past so he can really love?

I am a fan of Bella Andre, and enjoy reading all of her work. I loved the first half of this book; I thought Harper and Will’s meeting was sweet especially since it was for her younger brother Jeremy who had a brain injury from an accident. Jeremy’s interaction with Will was sweet and they both grow together. He even has a kit put together to build a car where one doesn’t exist, so they could do it together.

Will grew up with a rough father who is in prison. He doesn’t think he is worthy of someone like Harper but falls for her anyway. I don’t know what it was about this book, but I just couldn’t get into it, and I typically love Bella’s work. Overall it was a good book, and I will continue to read the series can’t wait to see how things turn out for the rest of the Mavericks. :)

This is an honest review in return for an ARC.

This book is more than a romance. It is a book about romance, love, loyalty, family, and strength. When I was done with Breathless in Love, I found myself wanting to pick it up a read it again. There have been books before that I hated it when they ended, but I did not want to immediately re-read them. This was different.

Harper is guardian to her teenage brother who loves cars, and wrote Will a letter that touched his heart. Will is a billionaire with a big heart, and a sense of not being worthy of love. Harper has preconceived notions of who Will really is as a man. She also holds in a much freer part of herself in, afraid to let go. Will helps Harper to see her brother, Jeremy, as more than someone who is dependent on her. Harper helps Will see that he is more than worthy of being loved.

Over time, Will and Harper discover love, acceptance, trust, and an ability to depend on each other, something neither expected to find.

I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I highly recommend and thoroughly enjoyed this book. I can not wait for the next book in the series.

Cute, but the MC kind of annoyed me here and there.

Breathless In Love is about a girl named Harper, who has dropped everything in her life/world to take care of her brother Jeremy. It also has a guy name Will, who just happens to be a billionaire and instantly took a liking to her. He wants to be her hero and save her from her terrible poor life. Of course they were cute.. but they still ended up annoying the shit out of me every now and then.

Harper was just ugh, frustrating to like. I get that her brother survived such a tragic accident at a young age. I also get that she lost her parents too and that she's the legal guardian.. BUT HOT DAMN WOMAN, let him live! Heck, let yourself live girl! Also, she need to stop being so freaking dramatic! The world is not going to end once you give him a little bit of freedom and yourself some fun.

Sweet baby jesus!

Then there's Will, who also annoyed me to no end. I honestly don't even want to dive into that deep dark hole because I would never stop ranting. He needs to let them live too and stop trying to be their mom/dad.

Just my opinion.

Overall, it was cute and I'm glad that I'm done!

a really awesome story and beginning to a new series. there were definitely traces of favorite author Bella Andre but certainly moments where I was reading a phrase or section and knew immediately it wasn't her wording. but all in all a good read with lots of emotion, passion, and sensuality, like I've come to expect from Andre's writing.

Breathless in Love is the first book in the Maverick Billionaire series by Bella Andre and Jennifer Skully. Bella Andre is an auto buy for me, but I hadn't read anything by Jennifer Skully before. While I enjoyed this book, it didn't read quite as addicting as Bella Andre books have been for me in the past. Don't get me wrong, I still really liked this book, but some of the usual magic wasn't there. Will was the perfect guy, pushing Harper when she needed it, but also realizing when he screwed up and doing what he needed to make amends. Harper was overly cautious, but blossomed while with Will. Her life was focused solely on caring for her brother and Will helped her see that it was okay to do things for herself. This book gets 4 stars from me, and I'm looking forward to reading more from this writing duo.

Kind of slow. The little brother is what kept me going.

It was fine. I loved the interaction between Harper, Jeremy & Will but overall, the story didn't do much for me. It was very sweet and the writing was lovely, just not steamy enough for me. :)
