4.5 stars rounded up. The overall plot of this one is great, and though the outcome isn’t all the surprising, the book had me second guessing myself. Which is always fun!
The romance feels a little repetitive in places (Spoilers: this series is three for three with hero pleasures heroine and black ring appearing, hero tells heroine to sleep, they talk about the bond in the morning) but the characters and plot are sufficiently engaging that I’m really curious to see where things are going.

Worth reading to finish main overall story but feels very rushed. The romance and smut in each of these books are nearly identical down to the dialogue.
