This story has an intriguing premise, Selene loses her memories every time she uses her magical powers but she doesn't let that stop or hold her back from accomplishing her goal, to be accepted into the Henbane Coven. I enjoyed the writing and the world that the author built. I also love Selene's humor, her familiar, and Memnon's character. The story does end on a cliffhanger but, in my opinion, it wasn't as bad or upsetting as some other books. I will definitely continue with this series and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next.
