Complete Me is the third book of Kenner’s Stark trilogy. I had been eying this series for quite some time after seeing it pop up as a recommendation. When I was presented with the opportunity to read this final book prior to its release, I jumped at the chance and tracked down the first two books for a quick read through to catch up.

Ever since Fifty Shades of Grey popped on the scene, more authors are getting the spotlight and I have to agree that Kenner does a fabulous job with this series.

Nikki Fairchild has escaped her past in search of a new start, but we all know that’s never how it goes. Only days into her adventure, she finds herself face to face with Damien Stark, a man she has fantasized about for years. It is anything but a warm and romantic reunion. If she had to guess, Nikki would think that Stark had no recollection of their prior meeting.

The first two books focus more on Nikki’s past and the growing relationship between her and Stark. As we enter the final book, gears shift and the reader is now finding out more about Stark and the thrilling conclusion to the cliffhanger of book three. Not only is the fate of Damien Stark up in the air, but so is the future of the couple that has captured hearts through their healing.

Nikki is slowly unraveling the truth behind who the man she loves is, and with each page, a layer is revealed and Damien Stark is revealed to us – “stark naked” and vulnerable. As the couple realizes how alike they really are, and how much they have grown, it is clear that nothing can truly tear them apart.

This was definitely a series worth reading. It is it’s own original series, with twists and turns, that keep you wanting and waiting for more. Even as I turned the last page, I wondered what the future had in store for this couple.

I liked this book. It had a bit of a twist as the bad person was not who I thought. I need a Mr. Stark in and out of the bedroom.

That's a Wrap... Or Is It?

The conclusion of the trilogy had me glued. Even though I've read this series a few times now in the nearly decade that it's been out in the world, I still struggled to walk away from it. Danger lurks, as does the possibility of a murder conviction. And the drama doesn't stop there!

I think things got a bit wilder in this installment but the heat continues to be through the roof! There were so many times that I wanted to be Nikki and experience all of the sensations and pleasure with Damien.

I wish this wasn't a trilogy. This last book felt rushed to me, especially at the end. I was really captivated by the story and how it was progressing and felt like my time was wasted when I got to the end.

That said I still think J. Kenner is a great writer and will more than likely read her next series.

I honestly believe at this point that I can't just lie and put 3.5 or 4 Stars and I don't know why I want to Keep reading (I think is just me being stubborn, idk) because the three books that I have read so far are almost the same, the only difference is that in this book the sex is over the top, like sometimes I did feel like "can you just talk or hang out and be a couple?" but no.

I'M sorry but theres going to be some spoilers ahead.

Release me, claim me and complete me have the same patron which is: they have sex all the time, something triggers nikki and she wants to cut herself and then she haves sex again with Damien, Damien doesn't let nikki in not even a 50% into his life and we Discover throught the book all little secrets he doesn't share with nikki

I don't like the fact that Damien never actually goes after nikki, all the time she has to go after him or find him days later.
I don't know how to feel about the fact that nikki is also a bad friend, she discovers that her best friend has been fired from her job and she feels bad for her but the only thing that she can do is text her.
I think im going to read the other book out of curiousity and just because I liked the plot of this book so I hope that the other book have a better one.

Normally I fall in love with the first or second book in a trilogy and am left disappointed with the final book. So often the last book in a series is a matter of wrapping up loose ends and the reader is just waiting for the happily ever after epilogue. This is definitely not the case with The Stark Trilogy. The third book is by far the most complex, and may I add SEXIEST, book in the series.

Complete Me leaves off right where the second book ends. Damien has gone to Germany to begin preparation for his murder trial. Although Nikki wishes Damien would reveal his dark secrets to put up a defense for his murder trial, she understands his adamant refusal. Nikki, who has gone to Germany to help Damien find solace throughout all of this, finds herself battling her predilection to cut. The first day in court brings about an unexpected surprise that closes one door, but opens a slue of unanswered questions.

When Nikki begins to receive threatening messages and is thrust into the limelight by the tabloids, her willpower is tested. Does she have the strength to endure the heat of the spotlight, or will she burn under the microscope that comes with a man like Damien Stark? Old players come back from the past and everyone is a suspect.

I cannot even begin to explain the intricacies of this book. I thought I had closure and was thrown for loop after loop. It is a page-turner and I’m incredibly sad that it’s come to a close. Beautifully written with wonderfully developed characters, this is just an all around amazing series. I cannot say enough about the talented J. Kenner and I’m looking forward to more by this author!

Also a big THANK YOU to NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group - Bantam Dell for providing me with this ARC.
