75/100.

This was a very, very, very long collection that took me almost 5 months to finish despite the high rating I've given it. The Rogue Squadron series takes up the bulk of the omnibus, spanning a full 35 issues. If I had received one a month as they were released back in the 90s, I probably would have not gotten so fatigued, because the stories are really quite good and the art is generally well done. That being said, this was maybe a little too much of a good thing and the runs started to feel repetitive after the first few. Branding the omnibus as a New Republic volume, while applicable in terms of chronology, feels like false advertising. The other comics at the beginning of the collection probably had to be in here because they took place before the Rogue Squadron series, but ultimately this just feels like an X-Wing omnibus that should have been self-contained, as good as it is, with the other comics included in future volumes. Going back and reading the best runs by themselves would probably be a whole lot more enjoyable than trying to stomach the whole thing in one go.

Issues aside, the cover art for the bulk of the later comics was some of the best sci-fi art I have ever laid eyes on. Take a look:
