I did appreciate that the narrator (the flea) referred to the male characters as what they are: absolutely terrible people. This differs from, say, The Romance of Lust, for example, which revels in its debauchery. This narrator shows pity for its main character & recognizes her as a victim who fell prey to gross old men instead of applauding said men’s depravity.

Victorian erotica. I was amused at first, but eventually found the whole thing a bit tedious.

It's a porn novella from the point if view of a flea. So it's exactly what you would expect - very horny and comical. My two drawbacks are that my copy has some typos, and that the two female characters are only 14, and engaging in all that.

I thought it an interesting task to look at the language and euphemisms of 19th century erotica, and now I'll have to deal with the consquences. Ew.
