******SPOILERS AHEAD******

From the day I started this manga, I was waiting for the white hair badass Kaneki. But now, the cost feels too much. I admit that by putting everyone's needs ahead of his, he was living a fucked up life. He even lost his human life due to this but still, there was an innocence, a warmth, that's very rarely found in real lives.

We were digging into his past and his personality was shaping up even more and wham, it's snatched away and thrown into the trash. We are given a brand new Kaneki, one who's confident, strong and is ready to kill if it comes to the people he cares for.

I loved seeing him fight with insane moves but I was shocked at the drastic transformation. Not sure if I'm mistaken, but I feel he's dropped the human side of him completely, with that I am a Ghoul statement..I mean look at the cover of the first volume and the cover of this volume, can you believe they are the same person!

Literally in love with this emotional roller coaster. My heart breaks for Kaneki. No one should have to undergo what he does. Beautiful and the anime is just as good.

Damn, this was a kick-ass volume! As much as I hated seeing Kaneki go through all that pain, his transformation was GLORIOUS, and I love how he has been able to hold onto a semblance of his humanity. I also love how Tsukiyama just shows and acts like NOTHING HAPPENED, meanwhile everyone wants to burn him alive. Oh, and Juzo has absolutely zero fucks and just fuckin' highjacked some guy's motorcycle because he wanted to fight and didn't feel like waiting for an opening. Classic.
