Great prequel

This was a fantastic prequel got me gripped from the of. It's brilliantly written like all of Dorothy Koomson books. Looking forward to sinking my teeth into the book now.

I downloaded this Dorothy Koomson short for free from the Kindle store after seeing a few of my Goodreads and Instagram friends raving about her. I had written her off as an author I would not enjoy far beforehand, but thought I'd see whether this was the case by reading From There to Here. The prose style was okay, and there is a little depth and intrigue to it, but it did not wow me in the slightest, and I'm not sure I would have the patience to read an entire novel written in this plodding way. The dialogue between characters was dull and unrealistic. I did not feel invested whatsoever in any of Koomson's characters, and have no interest in knowing what happens to them in the novel proper. Not for me.
