I knew a little about this series before I started. It was quite the interesting premise where the villain is the main character and gets happy ending. Was it perfect? Not by any means. But, it kept my interest and I wasn’t begging for it to be over. There were some areas that were a little hard to follow along, some things jumped around a little too much. Can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

Holy plot twists at the end. Was in between a 3.5-4 star rating, but i feel like the ending and beginning made up for it. I only wish there was some groveling since James literally never apologized for thinking she was conspiring against him. Also, Wendy didn't have much of a backbone, would have been nice to see her make James work for it.
