Genre: Dystopian, YA
Series: The Maze Runner Trilogy

I never loved this series and always saw the serious flaws and plot holes of the story, and the deficits in world-building and characters, but damn, this was still such a bad ending. It basically wasn't an ending at all. The book just... ended. That's it. Too many things happened and everything felt rushed and far-fetched (even more so than in the previous books.) With book 1 and 2, for all the flaws that they had, there was at least an entertainment factor, but even that this book was missing.

I didn't like how this one ended, or the fact that
Newt and Teresa died...
, it just didn't feel right to me.

The best of the three in the series. The writing improved over the course of the dog the series. I went through the book with much of the same opinion I had for the others, but the plot twist in one of the very last paragraphs of the book changed my entire opinion. It had my sitting up and gasping out loud and even considering reading the other books in the Maze Runner Universe.

i don’t know why but the beginning didn’t catch me really but after a while it got better and better.
my heart is broken (maybe i cried ok) but i‘m also happy but mostly just heartbroken.

i love that branda and jorge were more important in the book, love both of them!

have to say don’t really remember the third movie but i think the book was way better and the story made so much more sense and was way more complex i really liked that.

but… i loved the letter from newt in the movies it was heart wrenching and i kinda missed it in the book (the ending and the epilogue was still good tho)
