I was expecting to slog through another depressing “edgy” dark metal story and instead was entertained and interested throughout. There were genuinely funny moments and hope for an eventual happy ending even in the darkest moments. I hate when the twist is in the epilogue, but this is probably my favorite dark multiverse story yet.
