The random Sebastian being predatory/ *a whole ass pedo plot line was actually insane and was sooo weird, it would've been a lot better if not for that

I really enjoyed this, I think it offered me some closure to The Silent Patient since the last chapter in that had annoyed me

This book was mediocre compared to Silent Patient. It had a twist at the end but I didn't feel close enough to the characters to really feel the betrayal.

I was mostly into it, but the twist at the end is so forced and doesn't super make sense... like why would the husband be so hell-bent in killing her?? It was obvious it wouldn't be the professor because they were pointing at him the whole time. What was the point of the psycho dude from her group therapy reappearing? Just kind of messy and a bit disappointing after the beauty that was The Silent Patient.
