So different from the other books in the series, but in a positive way. A little less brutality and cruelty toward the working classes. 
The section on the Bottle of Waterloo was interesting and informative- I can't usually read about battles but I found it easy to follow and really important to the story so it kept my interest.
In the end the bad guy commits suicide and everyone gets kittens!

It was... fine. It feels like it was written to appeal to modern audiences rather than being a more historically focused story like the first few.
