You can definitely tell in the pacing of this volume that the series was originally a Webtoon with weekly episodes released for over 5 years (2018-2023+). As a book, it feels like it moves slower than you might anticipate because the plot hasn’t progressed very much since book 1. BUT, I remember the pacing feeling very appropriate for Webtoons, because you wouldn’t want the series to be finished in 5 weeks, right?

Artwork beautiful as usual.

In terms of plot and romance, not my favourite of the series. Some nice comedic moments which were appreciated.

I really enjoyed this volume! A lot of people complain that the story isn't moving forward, but it is, maybe just at a slower pace than what we're used to seeing. I think it makes the whole thing more realistic as the characters take time to think, to realize certain things and address them at their own pace, as they are not easy subjects and situations to deal with. I'm really excited to read the next one and see how the characters continue evolving!
