There are a few adorable projects- An adorable zip case, a cats rule tote bag, and some cute embroidered jeans. A few made me wonder what the heck?!? The Persian Cat Wrap Skirt was definitely top of that list.

OMG!!! This is the best crafting book! I wouldn't wear a lot of the fashion, but I loved how it has a little bit of everything in it.

I like cats, I like crafts; but there wasn't anything in here that really appealed to me. The wearable things were a little too out there for me, and some things felt a little too simplistic (painting a rock-although I hear that's a thing, now?- or writing some words on a bag). But it has its heart in the right place, and it might be more appealing to make some of these with a young person.

There's a variety of projects from clothes and jewelry to home decor idea. Some, I'm probably never going to make such as a fur wrap skirt with a cat face on it or cat lamp shades, there are more subtle designs that I like. The cat-shaped wreath and the kitties embroidered on jeans are my favorites.

I'm a cat lady! I love crafts! I do not love this book! I am afraid of skirts made out of fluffy fake fur or tank tops with what looks like cat hair tufts stitched to it!
Which is too bad, because I think there is a lot of potential and there are some cute ideas here. The Accessories section relied too much on iron on letters and shapes for me to follow the instructions exactly, but I like the idea of printing on a canvas shoe. The Fashion section has a few embellishment ideas that had potential, but also a crazy Persian cat skirt so I don't even know. The Home section had the most potential, with the wreath and felt storage bins. I could see making both, and the wreath would be cute in black or dark gray for Halloween too.
I don't know when or if I will make anything specific to this, but it does remind me to do things like embellish shoes or shirt collars.

I feel like this book is a cash grab, hoping to have people purchase it because it has the words cat ladies and crafts. It's honestly a weird assortment of crafts. Laughable at times.

Some really cute kitty-themed crafts, and the most hilariously ugly skirt. Worth checking it out from the library!
