I really enjoyed the foreword of the book where Bradbury goes into the inspiration for the story and his passion for writing it, but the actual book itself? Eh. I appreciate the message but the characters were underdeveloped and I found the actual writing to be very annoying.

Just a little too wordy for me (personally) at times, but still really beautiful writing.

Enjoyed the use of punctuation to pull me into the emotions of the story.

A second read for me. Very timely and important. A worthy classic to be sure.

I thought this was a fine book. I somehow got through school without reading it, and I felt it was time. I can understand how it was groundbreaking for the time it was written in and see why it inspired so many other works. I think that the idea behind the book is a lot more interesting than the book itself. I felt like there wasn't much effort put into making the characters feel real or multi-dimensional and I feel like a lot of science fiction has built better things from this foundation.

A short but intense read. One to mull over for a while.
