I don't remember reading this but it's rated 4 on my goodreads but since it obviously wasn't memorable I'm knocking it down a half star

This book was stupid. No plot. No character development. No story. No fun. NO GOOD. I barely want to spend another minute of my time writing a review. Predictable, lustful literature trash. I was very surprised at the good reviews. I would not recommend.

Yuck! What’s up with contemporary rom-com novels??? I just don’t like them. There. I said it.
Go for this one if you like:
1) cute-sexy-wimpy female protagonists, not-so-cleverly disguised by their high-powered jobs and supposed independence, who’re bumblingly inept in their personal lives
2) dark, brooding, patronizing (ooo, but secretly sensitive!) jerks with not-so-subtly disrespectful control problems, who smugly swoop in with astonishing abs and the answer to everything
3) bland narration that’s not at all delightfully charming enough to make up for anything
4) key premises that aren’t even the teensiest bit plausible while still managing to be 100% predictable
I mean, c’mon rom-coms?! Aren’t we less lame (and misogynist) than this by NOW? Guh.
