I enjoyed the first half MUCH more than the second half, I just really didn’t care about the second half at all. This was definitely not my favorite Junji Ito work either, but this was still a perfect read for spooky season.

the other stories weren't as good as those related to the lovesickness stories, but overall it was A Ride™

I always enjoy the striking artwork of Junji Ito's works. I really liked the main story of the crossroads boy although there was no resolution in the end of who he was, but I guess that's consistent with all of Ito's works where he tends to leave things open-ended. The poop short story was random and I'm not sure how it fits with the rest.
