What a load of absolute shite. I was hoping that it would live up to be more than just an ACOTAR rip off after the first book, little did I know that it would get so so much worse. The traumatising rape scene really was the cherry on top of the painfully repetative and awfully paced plot.

Fortuna is a stupid cow ! Yes, she is ! She charges in, pig headed, too young to consider, jumping at every offense, waiting for what ?....I really hated her in most of this book. Hated in a good way, she is interesting, unexpected and sometimes smart, though not much in this book. I'm so mad at her can you tell ? She blows it and I don't forgive her. I've already loaded book 3 (audio)
The rest of the book. I loved the pacing, the well developed characters, the secrets released. OMg the mother secret :O WOW ! The kings, the werewolf and the vampire are my favorites right now. Perhaps someday I'll like Fortuna again. LOL

I’ve read the series and now I’m listening to it.
The second time round I’m starting to notice there’s not a lot of chemistry between Colith and Fortuna.
