This was a good book and fast read. However, a lot of it was predictable and the connection between Caelin and her rescuer was a bit overdone. For someone who doesn't want to let anyone in, she does so without much coercion. I was quite surprised by the last 20 or so percent of the book and will be reading the next in the series.

Since a nuclear disaster, the world is in chaos. Caelin is just trying to do best for her and her sister Mardy, but her best isn't good enough. Especially when there are privileged citizens living underground in the Undercity. So when Jate brings Caelin to the group he runs with, the Impartialists, it all seems too good to be true. The Impartialists believe that everyone should be given a fair share, not just the privileged elite, but at what cost? Rebel Bound is a fun, fast-paced, and intense young adult book. The perfect read for those seeking a good dystopian read.
