"El odio que das" es un libro necesario para comprender como se vive el racismo desde el lado de los que reciben el odio. Angie Thomas hace un ejercicio fantástico de narración, aunque su personaje principal es el que menos empatía me generó a mí.
Los personajes secundario y sobre todo la familia de Starr son una delicia.
No le puse cinco estrellas porque la traducción de mi edición no me dejó disfrutar el libro 100%.

A stunning and moving novel. The characters, the storyline, the raw emotions this book makes you feel - everything is so so good. I absolutely loved Starr as the narrator - you truly end up feeling everything alongside her (and also desperately wanting to be her friend). This should be required reading for everyone but would especially recommend for younger readers.

I really think this book should be required reading for people of every race. Extra relevant reading for now in light of the discussions around black lives matter and police brutality. Starr was the perfect character. It both heartwarming and enraging. Enjoy!
