Detailed description of postulancy and novitiate in a Carmelite monastery pre-Vatican II, very nicely written. Her remembrances of early pre-Carmel life and later life in the Reno Carmel are also well-written, but are not quite as interesting to me. Brief book, easy reading while on retreat in a Carmelite retreat house.
