This book was so unrealistic. The MMC was a horrible person and the FMC had zero backbone. No way she leaves for 6 months, dumps him twice and then just takes him back no questions asked. Waste of a read!

I think after 2 years of dating, most adults would expect the next step. Not even an “I love you” in all that time? They were really only exclusive friends with benefits all that time. She was right to leave. And I LOVE that she stuck to her guns even though it was hard. She knew she deserved better and she would be settling with him. I liked that all her friends AND his friends took her side in the breakup.

I was pissed she never even mentioned Kristen though! Even though James explained it all, Max should know that Eve knew about that. And that she came for him in Florida only to find them together. That was never resolved between Eve and Max.

The first sex scene is a threesome so that was a fun surprise. 4 other explicit scenes are included. 2.5🔥
